Recent Particulars Emerge About the Location of the Bodies of Rob and Michele Reiner Remains

Fresh particulars have surfaced regarding the shocking deaths of esteemed director Rob Reiner and artist Michele Singer Reiner, whose bodies were discovered at their Los Angeles home home on Sunday.

The Initial Report

According to a report referencing a confidential source, a practitioner arriving for an appointment first raised the alarm after failing to get inside the house. The therapist then reached out to the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who resides in the vicinity.

When she went into the residence, Romy came upon her father's body. Accounts indicate she then fled the house in anguish, unaware at that moment that her mother's body was also present. Another individual who had accompanied her contacted 911. Following this, paramedics located Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Criminal Developments

Law enforcement have formally accused the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with the charges of premeditated murder, including the alleged use of a deadly weapon, reportedly a knife. He is presently being held without bail.

Correcting the Record

The person close to the family questioned several initial details. The source indicated that while Romy Reiner told first responders that her brother Nick lived in a separate structure on the estate, she did not point to him as a person of interest at that time.

Furthermore disputed widely reported claims that Rob and Michele Singer Reiner had been unusually "apprehensive" about Nick's conduct in the preceding period. Rather the family was "familiar with working through [Nick's] problems together."

The statement also extends to reports of alleged "unpredictable" behavior by Nick at a event held by Conan O'Brien the evening prior to the discovery. While the source said they were unable to confirm whether Rob had "chastised" his son at the party, they maintained that suggestions of a "heated argument" between the two were untrue.

Investigation Timeline

Per law enforcement sources, the medical examiner had still not confirmed at that point whether the Reiners died late on Saturday or on Sunday. Some media reports indicated the state of their bodies pointed to they had been dead for a period of time.

Nick Reiner was arrested at around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday in the Exposition Park area, some 15 miles from the family home. He was set to appear in court on Tuesday, but his attorney, Alan Jackson, said his client had a medical issue and would be unable to attend until Wednesday or later.
