Officials stated the forty-year-old entertainer was approached by three individuals, with one opened fire on him before fleeing on foot.

Authorities revealed that Stock was ambushed as he was departing from a location close to the Carlton Centre.

"The report indicates the deceased was confronted by three unidentified men after parking his vehicle, and they opened fire at him before escaping on foot," authorities said.

Surveillance tape reportedly depicted a man with dreadlocks and dressed in what looked like a protective services outfit opening fire on Stock before fleeing.

The DJ tried to run away after he was hit but fell down across the street.

It was further revealed that Stock had an gun that was not fired and it was not a robbery during the attack.

Key evidence, like bullet casings, were found at the crime scene.
